i was diagnosed w/ congestive heart failure in 2004. i’m on medication and have been pretty stable. I am attempting to lose weight. not really overweight, but could stand to lose maybe 10-12 pounds more. are there any diet pills i can take to help. i’ve been walking. taking supplements and so far so good. i feel good, but would love the boost and then continue w/ my routine w/o the pills to keep healthy. any ideas? and no, the doc wants me to just do it the way i’ve been doing it. anyway, please help.
are there any safe diet pills for someone who’s 28 w/ heart failure dx?

no diet pill is safe for anyone. sorry. do some moderate exercise.
I do not think anyone can offer a good suggestion regarding that, so be very weary of what pills they suggest. They are often just caffeine cocktails, sure its a minor stimulant and diuretic… but you have a bad heart… and you only want to lose 10 pounds, so just work out like your doc said… 10 pounds can be lost pretty quickly, but artificial weight loss due to dehydration is not good, especially considering your condition.
try fat and carbohydrate metabolisers. but stay away from any products that contain ephedrine or caffeine, for the obvious reasons. ie: l-carnitine.
Most products you would describe as “diet pills” contain stimulants which makes them a bad idea for people with heart problems.
Your best bet would be dietary suppliments that improve your overall health which will give you more energy to dedicate to healty eating & exercise. One I’d recommend in particular is fish oil. In addition to it’s many overall health benefits, studies have demonstrated it helps with fat loss & insulin sensitivity.
whatever you do DONT TAKE DIET PILLS!!! they are completely useless. Here is a greata rticle thatw ill explain why and give you better fat loss ideas…
